Robert Brewer, who edits the popular Writer’s Market directories, is soliciting how-to nonfiction articles from freelance writers to publish in the 2019 Writer’s Market.
He is seeking articles squarely aimed at freelance writers with a business angle. He will not accept articles on the writing process. Past articles have addressed query letters and article pitches, book proposals, earning a full-time income, bookkeeping, business advice, and marketing one’s writing services. Writers are invited to pitch up to three article ideas.
F+W Media Inc., the publisher, pays competitive rates, to be discussed individually, and buys First Rights. Additionally, the publisher pays for Reprint Rights if the writer’s article appears in other editions of the directory.
Writers can pitch via email.
Deadline is November 26, 2017. Learn how to submit at WritersMarket.com
