Threepenny Review Opens for Stories and Poetry – Pays $200/poem

The Threepenny Review (est. 1980), a popular literary journal of national arts and culture, has re-opened for submissions until June 30, 2017. The Journal is published four times annually: March, June, Sept. and Dec. A regular issue features over 30 pages of literary works by talented writers and poets, including Nobel Prizewinners and U.S. Poet Laureates.

The editors are open to a broad range of literary works: poetry, fiction, literary reviews, narratives, and essays. All submissions must be original and unpublished.

Word length: 4K words for stories and memoirs; 1200-2500 words for reviews; and up to 100 lines for poetry.

Payment: $400/story or article, and $200/poem for First Serial and Electronic Rights. All rights return to the writer upon publication of the issue.
