Thistledown Press (est. 1975), an award-winning independent Canadian publisher, has opened a reading period to review poetry and fiction manuscripts by emerging and established authors.
FICTION: The publisher is looking for works of fiction, including novels and short story collections. Submit by November 30, 2017.
Y.A. Novels: The publisher is interested in reviewing full-length fiction manuscripts for teen readers (YA novels). Submit by January 1, 2018.
Thistledown Press, which has published over 300 Canadian authors, recently announced that two of its titles have been nominated for the 2017 Saskatchewan Book Awards: A Map in My Blood by by Carla Braidek (nominated for the Poetry Award) and Wind Leaves Absence by Mary Maxwell (nominated for the First Book Award).
