The Seventh Wave (est. 2016), a digital publication that encourages opinionated advocates to connect, explore, and quarrel about issues, is accepting submissions of prose and poetry for Issue #7. The current theme ponders what we should do when opposition becomes extreme and how we should operate within that complexity.
Writers are invited to submit essays, fiction, poetry, and art that explore the social issues of “opposition” through the plural lens of literature, ideology, history, technology, humanities, etc.
The editors are accepting 12-16 original submissions in order to develop an dynamic platform for discussions of debate to thrive, educate, and transform the way we connect with the world.
Word length: up to 3K words per essay or fiction story; up to four poems, any length, per submission.
Payment: payment is based on budget, type of submission, and length.
Deadline: December 31, 2017. Read current call for submissions at The Seventh Wave’s website.
