The Arkansas International (est. 2016), a new literary journal published biannually in print, is reviewing submissions for the second and future issues.
Both emerging and established writers are encouraged to submit their best essays, fiction stories, poetry, comics, and translated literary works.
The Arkansas International is a grant-funded project of the University of Arkansas, produced by faculty and students of the Creative Writing & Translation program.
Submissions are open to creative writers and poets not affiliated with the University.
Word length: up to 10K words for prose; or up to six poems per submissions.
Payment: $25 per page. Rates may vary for future issues based on budget.
Deadline: February 28, 2017. The publication waives the reading fee in September, October, January, and February.
