SFWA’s The Bulletin is Seeking Articles on Short Fiction Writing Techniques – Pays 10 cents/word

SFWA (Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc.) is now accepting articles and columns for The Bulletin, the organization’s quarterly print publication that explores the art and techniques of short fiction writing.

Right now the editors are open to non-fiction pieces that would interest emerging and/or established writers of science fiction and fantasy, such as:

  • insights into the genre publishing business (traditional and self-publishing);
  • articles on the writing process and the reading experience;
  • traditional perspectives of our field; and
  • scientific or historical material that could enhance stories.

The following columns are also open to writers:

  • State of the Art: Science and Technology.
  • Anthropology 101: History and Anthropology.
  • Writers’ Bloc: General writer news/do’s and don’ts/ etiquette.

Word length: 500-3000 words.

Payment: 10 cents/word.
