Moss (est. 2015), a regional literary journal, is inviting prose and poetry writer to submit their best work for future issues. The editor accepts nonfiction essays as well as contemporary, experimental, and speculative fiction. Poetry, in any style, is also considered.
Eligible writers must reside in the Pacific Northwest (Idaho, Oregon, Washington, or British Columbia) or have strong connections to the region and culture.
Length: up to 1800 words.
Payment: $125 per fiction or nonfiction story; $35 per poem.

Moss is published thrice yearly to showcase the Pacific Northwest’s flourishing, dynamic literary arts community and promote and contribute the works of emerging writers to the region’s arts culture.
