Lovecraftian Stories Needed for ‘Queering the Cthulhu Mythos’ Anthology – Pays up to $180/story


Author and Editor Scott David Aniolowski has teamed up with speculative fiction publisher Lethe Press to publish a forthcoming anthology called, Intimate the Nature of the Phantasms: Queering the Cthulhu Mythos. The anthology will collect the best Cthulhu Mythos tales portrayed from an LGBT perspective.

The editor is welcomes all settings and genres influenced by H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu Mythos, but depicted with a LGBT perception of self. Genres can include gothic horror, splatterpunk, cyberpunk, steampunk, sci-fi, Gaslight horror, avant-garde, speculative, erotica, fantasy, sword and sorcery, historic, and anything else conceivable.

Word length: up to 6K words per story.

Payment: 3 cents/word (up to $180 per story).

Deadline: May 1, 2016. Submission guidelines
