LooseLeaf magazine Calls for Prose and Poetry about Food – Pays up to $60/poem

LooseLeaf, an Asian Canadian literary and visual arts magazine published by Project 40 Collective, is inviting creative writers to submit their best work to Volume 4, a themed issue about “food.”

The editors welcome prose, poetry, and all types of visual art that explore, celebrate, and interpret food as an identity, a subject, a product, etc. Writers, poets, and artists are encouraged to share what “food” means to them.

What to submit: up to three pieces of poetry (short or long form); 4K-6K words per prose piece (up to two pieces); up to five pieces of artwork (300 dpi).


$15 per poem (capped at $45).
$30 per poem above 2 pages (capped at $60).
$40 per short story.
$40 per non-fiction piece.
$40-70 per visual art piece (capped at $80).
$20-40 per comic.

Payment is in Canadian currency.
