Listverse.com has updated its contributor’s guidelines to help freelance writers submit original “Top 10” lists in popular categories like entertainment, general knowledge, science, society, and the bizarre.

The site is home to hundreds of interesting, intriguing, and eye-catching tidbits of information packaged for easy and enjoyable reading.

The editors invite writers to submit their own “lists” under one of the site’s key categories for consideration.

They encourage writers of all skill levels to submit, as long as the list is enjoyable, fascinating, written in correct English, and buzzes with a sense of wit and humor.

Word length: 1800 words 1,500 words (180 150 words per entry) equals 10 items in a single list. A list can contain more than 10 items and exceed 1500 words. The editorial staff will source all images or photos.

Payment: $100/list.

The editors have also posted a list of topics they are no longer seeking.

Jamie Frater is Editor-in-Chief. Read updated contributor’s guidelines at Listverse.com.

Listverse.com publishes 3-5 new lists per day (sometimes more) and attracts over eight million readers per month.
