Harmony Ink Press Calls for Book-Length LGBTQ+ Manuscripts – Pays $1,000 Advance

Harmony Ink Press (an imprint of Dreamspinner Press) is sponsoring the Harmony Ink Young Author Challenge and is actively soliciting novel-length Y.A. fiction containing one or more memorable LGBTQ+ heroes or heroines who undergo meaningful personal development as the story unfolds.

The publisher accepts all sub-genres as well as all themes that explore the transformational growth of young adult characters between 14 and 21 years old.

The degree of intimacy between the characters should suit the mood of the story.

Suggested word length is 15K to 90K words. Stories above 45K words will be published in both print and digital forms.

Harmony Ink Press pays an advance of $500 to $1,000 on novels. Authors also earn 30-40% royalties on sold books.

Submit an original, unpublished manuscript. No reprints allowed.

Deadline: May 1, 2017. Read updated submission guidelines at Harmony Ink’s website.
