GreenPrints (est. 1990), an award-winning magazine showcasing the best of personal garden stories, invites submissions of fine prose and poetry from writers. The quarterly magazine celebrates the human/personal component of gardening, not the how-to.
The editor looks for meaningful stories that express the experiences and the personal relationship with gardening, often revealing the storyteller’s observations and emotions–hope, happiness, inspiration, love, humor, beauty, friendship, frustrations, and so on–with both plants and people.
Word length: up to 2K words for stories.
Payment: up to $150 per story issued upon acceptance. GreenPrints publishes only one poem per issue. Payment is $20 per poem.
