Submittable.com (est. 2010), the leading submissions manager used by publishers, has updated its editorial needs and is currently looking for Freelance Writers to contribute content to its blog (https://blog.submittable.com/) about technology, publishing, the arts, and the writer’s life.
The editors are interested in any topic related to the publishing industry or digital media and beneficial to its global audience of writers, artists, and publishers.
Currently, the blog needs the following type of submissions:
Eclectic Essays: short, compelling essays that discuss the process of writing, publishing, visual art, or other creative endeavors. The editors also like essays discussing the interaction of the arts and tech, whether pulled from personal experience or by observing the world around you.
Book Reviews: an in-depth, personal review of a forthcoming or recently-released book on any topic covering digital media, publishing, or writing. (Titles must have been published within the last year.)
Interviews: the editors want interviews with arts- or tech-space visionaries, creators, or individuals who are influencing the publishing-tech industry.
