Fantasy & Science Fiction magazine Calls for Submissions – Pays up to 12 cents/word

Fantasy & Science Fiction (est. 1949) is a bi-monthly print and digital magazine packed with over 200 pages of stories and artwork for sci-fi and fantasy enthusiasts.

Because forthcoming issues have no theme, the editor welcomes the general gamut of sci-fi and fantasy stories which should have strong characters and speculative storylines. Stories with humor are appreciated, as well as more sci-fi stories than fantasy.

Word length: submit stories up to 25K words.

Payment: 7-12 cents/word (considered above pro-rates for this market).

Rights: First Serial and Foreign Rights.

F&SF now has an online submission page to submit electronically, instead of postal mail. You can submit your story at: http://submissions.ccfinlay.com/fsf/.

General writer’s guidelines: http://www.sfsite.com/fsf/glines.htm.

Award-winning sci-fi writer Charles Coleman Finlay (C.C. Finlay) serves as Editor-in-Chief.
