Daily Science Fiction, a popular online sci-fi magazine, has reopened for submissions and is accepting stories in the speculative fiction genre, including sci-fi, fantasy, slipstream, and alternative history.
Editors and founders Michele-Lee Barasso and Jonathan Laden need short short fiction, particularly standalone flash fiction or a series of flash fiction consisting of three or more tales threaded with a prevalent theme.
Word length: between 100 and 1500. The editors will not accept stories above the word count.
Payment: 8 cents per word (considered above pro-rates for this genre) for First Worldwide Rights and Nonexclusive Reprint Rights.
Submit original, unpublished stories only. Writers can read the current and past feature stories for free at the website.
