Michigan-based publisher Caffeinated Press, Inc. (est. 2014) is accepting submissions for the third volume of Brewed Awakenings, an annual anthology of diverse literary works.
The publisher invites writers to submit short stories, novelettes, novellas, poetry collections, and biographical essays. To showcase a variety of works from a diverse pool of writers, the anthology is unthemed and open to all genres and styles. The publisher is reviewing poetry, fiction, narrative essays, and creative nonfiction from local and non-local writers who have an outstanding and compelling story to share.
Word length: 2,501 to 7,500 words for short stories; 7,501 to 17,500 words for novelettes; 17,501 to 40,000 words for novellas; one or more poems; 100 lines total; up to 2500 words for micro-stories
Payment: $150 per novella; $100 per novelette; $50 per short story; $25 for poetry; $10 per micro-story.
