Arsenika (est. 2016), a new quarterly journal of speculative poetry and flash fiction, is now curating new submissions for the October 2017 issue.
The editor is looking forward to reading dynamic works that express exquisite, emotional writing: poetry that sparkles with diversified overlays of meaning, and prose that examines, explores and investigates.
Arsenika is open to most speculative genres, from hard sci-fi to magical realism and everything in between. Each issue, available in digital formats, showcases two or more pieces of flash fiction and four poems.
Submit original, unpublished flash fiction or poetry, up to 1K words.
Payment: $60 per story; $30 per poem.
Deadline: September 15, 2017. Read submission guidelines at Arsenika’s website.
