Mithila Review, a speculative arts and culture magazine launched in March 2016, is inviting writers to submit original prose, poetry, and translations in storytelling.
The editors are reviewing literary and speculative works that contain mythological, fantastical or futuristic elements. They welcome submissions in the genres of sci-fi/f, science fantasy, horror, alternative history, magic realism, uncanny and the weird.
In addition to fiction and poetry, the editors also publish original film and book reviews, interviews, and essays that uncover interstitial spaces and marginal experiences in present day.
Token Payment: $50 for stories, 4K-8K words; $10 per poem, flash fiction or essay (under 2500 words).
Reading period: ongoing. Read submission guidelines at Mithila Review’s website.
